Lexolution has certified that it adheres to the Principles with respect to personal information (as described below) that is transferred from the European Union and its Member States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and/or Switzerland (“EU”) to the United States. If there is any conflict between the terms in this Privacy Shield Policy and the Principles, the Principles shall govern.

This Privacy Shield Policy applies to personal information within the scope of Lexolution’s Privacy Shield certification.

Privacy Statement

What information is collected?

Activities or services that require provision of personal information generally seek full name, email address, and phone number. Depending on the activity or service a user desires, we also may request additional personal information.

How does Lexolution use my information?

Personal information may be collected and used primarily for evaluating job candidates, profiling prospective customers, building our mailing list for information distribution, processing payroll and submitting payroll and tax information to appropriate entities and authorities.

Personal information also may be collected and used by certain Lexolution employees in connection with e-discovery, litigation or other legal work performed for our clients.

We may also use personal information to contact a user in connection with the user's inappropriate use of lexolution.net and lexolutionlegal.net.

We may use non-personal information such as demographic data to analyze and develop our marketing strategy. We may use personal information to determine how you found out about us, what your interests are regarding our services, and how to further improve our site and our service towards you.

Marketing Communications

If a user prefers not to receive emails or other forms of communication unrelated to Lexolution orders and requests for services, the user may opt-out from receiving such communication by notifying us at the email included in our email correspondence transmissions.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise dispose of the personal information collected on lexolution.net to third parties. Lexolution Privacy Shield

Lexolution recognizes that the EU and Switzerland have established strict protections regarding the handling of Personal Data, including requirements to provide adequate protection for Personal Data transferred outside of the EU.  To provide adequate protection for all Personal Data regarding consumers, clients, suppliers, business partners, job applicants and employees received in the US, Lexoution has elected to self-certify to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss–U.S. Privacy Shield Framework administered by the US Department of Commerce ("Privacy Shield").  Lexolution adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement, and Liability.  This Policy supplements our Privacy Statement located at https://www.lexolution.net and unless specifically defined in this Policy, the terms in this Policy have the same meaning as in the Privacy Statement.


By using the Lexolution websites, you consent to the terms of our online privacy policy regarding the use and processing of personal information, and any and all other terms that may be set forth on our website where Lexolution collects personal information.

You further expressly agree that by using this website, your rights and obligations, as well as the rights and obligations of Lexolution shall be governed, at Lexolution's sole discretion, by the laws of the State of New York.


Lexolution acknowledges its potential liability in cases of its Onward Transfer of Personal Data to third parties that do not meet the criteria set forth in the two immediately preceding paragraphs.

In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Lexolution commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information. EU or Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Private Shield policy should first contact Lexolution at privacyshield@lexolution.net.

If you have an unresolved privacy or data use concern that we have not addressed satisfactorily, you may be able to invoke binding arbitration. Please contact our U.S.-based third party dispute resolution provider (free of charge) at https://www.jamsadr.com/file-an-eu-us-privacy-shield-claim. There is no cost to you to utilize this complaint resolution process.

As a last resort, privacy complaints that remain unresolved after pursuing these channels may be subject to binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel. The Panel ahs the authority to impose individual-specific, non-monetary equitable relief (e.g., access, correction, deletion, or return of the individual’s data in question) necessary to remedy the violation of the Privacy Shield Principles solely with respect to the individual. These are the only powers of the Privacy Shield Panel with respect to remedies. No monetary damages, costs, fees or other economic remedies are available, and each party bears its own attorneys’ fees.

Lexolution has consented to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission.

In the event of a sale of the company or a significant portion of its assets, Lexolution may disclose or transfer Personal Data to a purchasing party that is EU-US Privacy Shield-compliant and/or Swiss-US Privacy Shield-compliant, as applicable.

Changes to this privacy statement

If we later change our Privacy Statement, we will post those changes on our homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
